Compact hatchback Lexus defines two premiers at the same time - the first Lexus hatchback and first premium class hybrid hatchback in the car making. The new car will be partly built on the same platform as the well known IS class from Lexus, but the rear bracket and the power-plant are developed from the from blank.

The speed Lexus CT 200H specifications are unknown yet as its price. The car sizes allows premium Lexus hatch to compete with Audi A3 and BMW 1-series. The Lexus CT 200H length is 4320mm, width - 1765 mm and wheelbase is 2600mm. An unpleasant characteristic is luggage space size. It’s 350 and 700 litters with rear seats unfolded and folded correspondingly. Most probably it’s because of additional hybrid equipment that takes some place. Generally the car looks sporty and dynamic.

The car premier was in the recent Geneva Motor Show. There was unveiled some specifications only. The full information will be realized closer to the middle 2010

The Lexus CT 200H interior is from last Lexus concept cars and it’s really functional and high quality. The car electromotor will be combined with 1.8-litter petrol motor. Lexus Li-ion batteries will allow to run more than 2 kilometers on electro-engine only with the average speed of 45km/h.
