Once again, the tires of wellknown manufacturer Nokian was established new world speed record on ice for a production car.
As the car has been selected - Audi RS6 C6 previous generation with V10 of 580 horsepower and all-wheel drive. Tests were conducted on the Gulf of Bothnia, Baltic Sea. Set a record speed with a maximum speed of 335,710 kilometers per hour or 93 meters per second. Used tyres are 255/35 R20 with index 97 T XL. The car was driven by a test pilot Jane Lehtinen.

Previous record belongs to Juha Kankkunen on the Bentley Continental GT with tires Pirelli SottoZero II 275/40R20. Then, in February of the 2012, the car was able to reach maximum 330,690 kilometers per hour.
